Same owner as the Jarrah Bar in Hillarys, Wes D’Arcy is expanding his operation and opening a new beachside venue NOR that offers great food, great drinks and a warm atmosphere with old fashioned customer service. Three sections to the venue are to accommodate live sports, restaurant quality food/service and the local bar feel.
Iluka Beach Bar + Kitchen engaged 21st Century for an easy-to-use Pixel Point POS system that would cater for multiple service styles. It was important to have local and ongoing support and a POS system that would be versatile to adapt to changes within the hospitality industry.
Solution
After listening to Iluka Beach Bar + Kitchen’s ambitions and learning about their business, 21st Century worked with Iluka Beach Bar + Kitchen to further explore key requirements. It was recommended to customise the printer channels for their large menu to all be printed to unique locations, to collect Pixel Point to the Eftpos units for integrated eftpos and to ensure the POS system would be easy to navigate for all staff members.
21st Century undertook a site visit to assess what was needed in terms of hardware to achieve the results that Wes was seeking. 21st Century worked closely with Wes and his management team to ensure that the kitchen was configured correctly in terms of printers. 21st Century created different authorisation levels on the POS systems for the staff to maintain high-level security. A very quick turn around was needed for installation, which was a challenge that 21st Century took in their stride.
Outcome
Initial installation was completed in less than a day, which was a very exciting outcome for all parties. The assistance and ongoing guidance provided by the 21st Century Support team enabled the Iluka managers to become seamlessly proficient with PixelPoint POS in a very short period of time. Additional terminals were also added after the opening, to accommodate for how busy they have been!
